The Broadcast Alumni Community is a non-profit subcommittee of the Nevada Broadcasters Foundation. We hold informal luncheons and get togethers. We meet at reasonably priced places and buy our own meals and beverages. Places and times are pre-announced so you can make plans to attend and RSVP.
As a member of BAC, you can share your contact information in the phonebook portal, allowing other members to see your phone number and email so that they can connect with you. If you prefer, your information will be kept confidential.
We value our members’ input and suggestions about future events and programs. Initially, you can look forward to things like luncheons, receptions, ice cream socials, golf outings, museum outings, bowling, tours of area attractions, and expos.
We are committed to supporting and raising money for the Nevada Broadcasters Foundation. The Foundation awards tuition scholarships to talented and dedicated students attending Nevada colleges and universities to further their education in broadcasting and digital media. To date, the Foundation has awarded 263 scholarships!

The inception of BAC is a tale of serendipity and friendship. Beginning with Jaye Albright’s occasional luncheons with her friend Charli Carter and long-time colleague Bob Fisher, the retired President of the Nevada Broadcasters Association. Soon after, the group expanded to include the likes of Mike Ginsburg, Darwin Paustian, Judy Owen, Doug Shane, Tony Bonnici, and Linda Bonnici. These retired Las Vegas broadcasters shared memories, laughter, and camaraderie, turning ordinary moments into extraordinary ones.
The BAC operates under the auspices and bylaws of the Nevada Broadcasters Foundation. Therefore, it directly reports to the Foundation’s Executive Director, Eric Bonnici. The committee is governed by nine original Council members with three elected officers responsible for daily operations.
The Nevada Broadcasters Foundation is a 501(c) (3) EIN: 27-3558079.
