Video Editor for KVVU-TV, FOX5, Las Vegas requires knowledge of non-linear video editing. Must be capable of editing news stories in various forms for newscasts and various digital platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
– The position requires knowledge of non-linear video editing.
– Must be capable of editing news stories in various forms for newscasts and various digital platforms.
– Receive and follow instructions on editing ENG material from talent or producers.
– May have to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays.
– Edit video as assigned for newscasts and various digital platforms.
– Upload/download video to partner outlets/platforms.
– Communicate with team in the newsroom.
Qualifications/Requirements:
– Minimum 2 to 3 years of prior Editor experience, preferably in a TV Newsroom.
– Flexible work hours required.
– College degree preferred, but not required.
