FOX5, KVVU Las Vegas, is the market’s #1 news team. And now we’re looking for an experienced Executive Producer to help lead and support our evening news team.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated depth of experience in the following:
– Strong news-producing skills and the ability to use that experience to mentor and guide a team of producers and anchor/reporters.
– Exceptional communication skills and experience in creating a positive team environment.
– Excellent news judgment and proven ability to lead both evening enterprise and breaking news content.
– Ability to work with the senior news management as needed to implement policies and procedures within the department
Qualifications/Requirements:
– Ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience as a producer, and previous experience as an Executive Producer.
– The successful applicant’s background must include, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or or the equivalent.
– No beginners.
