A Radio & Digital Sales Executive is responsible for developing, closing and maintaining business accounts for our 9 radio stations and digital marketing channels. They generate revenue through selling various advertising tools including on-air promotions, radio advertising packages and sponsorships of programs, SEO, SEM, website development and social media marketing as well as crafting targeted online campaigns. Other duties include preparing media schedules, writing commercials, preparing proposals/presentations, and collecting payment.
For a Radio & Digital Sales Executive career, a bachelor’s degree is desirable, but not required. Prior media sales and digital sales experience is an advantage. Additionally, the applicant must have great presentation skills, the ability to negotiate, attention to detail, be able to multi-task, love competition, and be honest and ethical. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
This position is commission based, with a starting guarantee of $30,000/year minimum. The income possibilities are based on personal sales.
