KVVU, FOX5, the Gray-owned station in Las Vegas has an opening for an anchor/reporter. The position will include anchoring weekend evening newscasts and reporting three days per week.
This position will anchor weekend newscasts and report three days per week, on-air and online. Reporting is a key component for all FOX5 anchors, so candidates must demonstrate strong reporting and live skills, and the ability to generate strong enterprise content.

Qualifications/Requirements:
– Three years minimum experience as a reporter and anchor in a TV newsroom.
– Proven ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that support the FOX5 “Local Las Vegas” brand.
– Strong writing and the ability to tell engaging stories through visual mediums are essential.
– College degree preferred.
