About KOLO:
KOLO 8 News Now is the ABC and CW affiliate television station serving the Reno/Sparks area, Northern Nevada and parts of the eastern California. KOLO broadcasts seven hours of news weekdays. We are also dedicated to serving the community through KOLO Cares, partnering with area non-profit organizations.
Job Summary/Description:
KOLO 8 News Now has an opening for an experienced news producer. The newscast must be produced in an ethically sound manner while maintaining energy and creativity. The producer needs to have excellent writing skills and good news judgement.
The producer is responsible for organizing the rundown for the newscast. This job requires writing content for the newscast, arranging stories, timing the newscast, and helping contribute story ideas and pitches.

Qualifications/Requirements:
?? Two or more years of newsroom experience and a degree in journalism or another related field are preferred. Experience with ENPS is a plus.
