Job Summary/Description:

KVVU, FOX5, the Gray owned station in Las Vegas has an opening for an anchor/reporter. The position will include anchoring and reporting each work day. You will generate strong story ideas, and produce/report those stories for on-air and digital channels. Anchor on air and online daily as scheduled. Must be experienced in handling breaking news and live field coverage as needed.

Please note – the primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed above.
Qualifications/Requirements:

? Three years minimum experience as a reporter and anchor in a TV newsroom. Proven, demonstrated ability to conceive and pitch strong enterprise (original) story ideas that support the FOX5 “Local Las Vegas” brand. Strong writing and ability to tell engaging stories through visual mediums are essential. College degree preferred, but not required.
