KTVN has an immediate opening for a Commercial Producer/Director.
Candidate should have current or recent training and experience producing television commercials in a broadcast or agency environment.
Applicant has to read and write the English language and be well-spoken, and understands the basics of persuasive writing and editing.
Must be comfortable in communicating with media sales people and business owners/clients.
Person must easily use phone, email and text messaging technologies. Successful applicant must be able to visualize various marketing ideas and create effective messages.
Have experience in directing, editing, lighting and audio design and operating modern video and audio recording technology as well as be well-versed in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
Must have demonstrative knowledge in the above as well as examples of self-produced commercial productions that have been broadcast and/or streamed digitally online.
Applicant must be able to lift and securely transport production equipment to and from vehicles and on location.
