<p>JOB SUMMARY: Sets up, controls and monitors television broadcasting equipment to transmit television programs and station breaks to viewing audience by performing the following duties.</p>

2.	Prepare server play-list for playback of programming, station breaks and identification materials.
3.	Verifies voice over recordings and informs appropriate personnel of inconsistencies.

11.	Monitors EAS broadcasts. In the case of an EAS alert, operator is responsible for rebroadcast of details to ensure public safety.
12.	Records on programming log actual time program or station break occurred.
13.	Prepares computer report describing problems encountered during transmission of program or station break and reason for problem.
14.	Operates computer interface to control satellite receivers.
15.	Monitor the transmitter to ensure operation within the FCC frequency guidelines.
16.	Records programs according to the recording log. Responsible for accurate timing and logging of recorded programs, information and other materials.
17.	Responsible for making dubs of programs per work orders.

giving to Vegas PBS.
4. Establish and maintain a donor cultivation cycle and gift stewardship program to ensure that new
major donors are developed, have opportunities to increase their level of support annually, and

5. Serve as primary liaison with Planned Giving Council. Work with this council to develop levels of
support. Develop strategies to facilitate personal solicitation of prospects by committee members.
6. Serve as the primary liaison for other giving circles and major or mid-level gift councils. Work with
these entities to develop levels of support, scholarship funds, and other gift giving initiatives.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Currently serving as a professional-technical employee with the Clark County School District or hold
a Bachelors degree.
2. Five to seven years of non-profit gift planning, non-profit fundraising, financial planning, or legal
experience.
3. Verifiable experience in raising donations of $1,000 or more.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Masters Degree, PhD, or JD to commensurate experience.

The Multi-Media Journalist day begins in the morning or afternoon meeting, depending on the shift. The Photographer/News Reporter is expected to bring story ideas to the meeting, which are found through contacts, reading newspapers, etc. The position requires to do camera for the Reporter or by him (her) self to shoot or and interview people. </p>

<p>The Multi-Media Journalist must have excellent communications skills with reporters and the rest of the news team. </p>

<p>A good Multi-Media Journalist knows a little about everything, so reading the entire newspaper from front to back on a daily basis is a good idea. Most successful News Photographers/News Reporters are fast writers, as they often have to jump on a story or go live at a moments notice </p>

	Research, write, and report daily news stories.
	Edit news stories on linear or non linear editing equipment.
	Create news graphics
	Help to produce the Newscast
	Be the back up Technical Director

<p>Skills:
Strong conversational writing, news judgment and organizational skills are essential; creative use of live elements, graphics and set; ability to work closely with others under deadline pressure; knowledge of general broadcast newsroom operations; videotape editing skills helpful; must be able to handle multiple live shots, must be able to implement findings of station research and directives of newsroom managers.  Must also be able to motivate and delegate.</p>

<p>Experience:
Minimum three years producing newscasts preferred. </p>

<p>Duties:
Produce regularly-scheduled newscasts; work closely with members of news staff, production and creative services departments to create compelling editorial and visual content; oversee story development and placement within newscast; coordinate on-air execution of news product; write headlines, teases and other portions of newscast; must post stories and video to the web; contribute to facebook, produce, as needed, special broadcasts and projects. Other duties as assigned by managers.</p>
